Millenic Alli has been named your RGB Recruitment Player of the Month for April 2024.
Alli, who joined the Grecians in January from National League side Halifax had to wait a while for his first taste of action as a Grecian due to an injury. But in April the 24-year-old made five appearances in red and white, scoring four goals.
Millenic's first strike for City sparked a comeback at Leyton Orient. City were 2-0 down until the 88th minute when he stooped to head home to get City back into the match, Will Aimson's flick two minutes later rescued a point for the Grecians. Next up Millenic scored twice at Port Vale as City again came from 2-0, but this time to win 4-2. His first a deflected strike that looped over the goalkeeper to get City back into the match, and his second rounded things of nicely, firing home from close range to make it 4-2.
Alli's final goal of April would prove to be City's final, as he headed home from a corner against Oxford United on the final day, sadly City were unable to come back from 2-0 down this time and narrowly lost out 2-1 to a side that qualified for the play-offs.
Millenic received over 30% of the total voting, with Luke Harris in second and Will Aimson in third in the voting!
