Zak Jules joined the club in July 2023 from MK Dons.
The London born defender, who has played youth level for Scotland, is a product of the Reading academy and had almost 150 Football League appearances to his name at time of signing, with the Dons, as well as Walsall, Macclesfield Town, Port Vale and Chesterfield.
Zak had a brilliant 2023/23 campaign, making 47 appearances in all competitions, becoming a fan favourite and scoring two brilliant goals - the first a long range strike against Reading and the second a close range volley at Port Vale.
