Demetri Mitchell joined the Grecians on undisclosed terms from Scottish Premiership side Hibernian FC on January 26, 2023.
The dynamic, creative wide man joined the Grecians on an 18-month contract.
Demetri, who can play left back, or left wing started his career at Manchester United where he made his senior debut in the Premier League against Crystal Palace in 2017.
He would go on to have a pair of productive loan spells at Hearts in the Scottish Premiership before making a permanent move to Blackpool where he helped the club to promotion to the Championship. Demetri would then move back to Scotland to join Hibs on a permanent deal. Demetri has also been capped at England U16s, U17s, U18s, and U20s level.
Mitchell made 16 League One appearances in his first half-season with the club, scoring twice, before making anither 17 last season.
Unfortumately he suffered a season ending ACL injury in October 2023, but not before he had sent City to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup with the winner against Premier League side Luton.
