The Foundation’s main winner this month is David Hedderly who collects May’s £1,000 prize and is pictured wearing his City shirt, he says the windfall is well timed because he has just started some improvements to his property.
David started supporting City in the 1957/58 season and well remembers some of the players from that time: "In goal was George Hunter and the forward line was number 7 Nelson Stiffle, 8 Graham Rees, 9 Ted Calland,10 Johnnie Nicholls and 11 Gordon Dale. The times and formations have since altered on many occasions but despite advancing years I still enjoy my visits to SJP."
