Matchday Saturday tours for Trust members
The Exeter City Supporters’ Trust is again running guided tours of City’s iconic St James Park this season.
Based on our experience last season we will not be running tours on a Friday as these were less popular. Instead, we will be focusing on match day Saturday’s which proved really successful, with over 75 participants taking up the offer of free tours last season.
Tours this season will take place on home match days that fall on a Saturday, and will start at 10:45 and are scheduled to finish at 12:15. We are now taking bookings now for the first four months of the season. At present there won’t be a tour on the 1st September (vs Burton) because of the possibility that there will be election Hustings that day. Similarly there will be no tour on Saturday 6th October (vs. Port vale) as this will be the date of the Trust AGM.
You can now book your place on a ground tour for the first 6 matches of the season:-
18th August vs. Morecambe
15th September vs. York
29th September vs. Bristol Rovers
20th October vs. Chesterfield
10th November vs. Fleetwood
24th November vs. Rotherham
All you have to do to book a tour is send an email to trust@ecfc.co.uk with the words “stadium tour” in the subject line. In your mail please state the date you would like to come, the number in your party (normal maximum is 12), and your mobile number, if you have one. If you don’t use email, you can ring the Reception desk at the club (01392-411243) and leave the same details.
Feedback from those who had a tour last season was really positive, and we hope that many more Trust members will be able to enjoy one of the perks of “owning your football club” next season. A particular highlight last season was being able to take members around the changing rooms prior to kick off. Don’t forget stadium tours are FREE and will give you a chance to chat about anything you like with one of your Trust Board members, who will lead the Tour.
If you are not yet a Trust member you can come along too, but we do ask you to give serious consideration to joining the trust in order to help our Club progress. The Trust gratefully acknowledges the support of our club's staff in facilitating these tours, many of which go out of their way to make those having a tour feel welcome.
We hope to see you soon!
