Tis tells us about Elliott Chamberlain and Stephen Brogan
Exeter City returned to training at the Cat & Fiddle on Monday with two trialists in their ranks.
The Grecians, who get their pre-season campaign underway with a match in Guernsey on Friday (7:45pm) and then a trip to Dorchester on Tuesday, (7:45pm) were put through their paces by Paul Tisdale and his coaching staff having returned from the summer break.
Having worked so hard in recent weeks on his fitness Danny Coles was also in full training, a fantastic achievement given how he fractured his spine in March.
And trialists Elliott Chamberlain and Stephen Brogan weren't the only new faces with Kevin Amankwaah, Arron Davies, Rhys Evans and Tommy Doherty all being put through their paces in the new Joma training kit.
20-year-old Chamberlain, who is a Welsh Under 21 international, left Leicester this summer and will be on trial for a few weeks while the versatile 24-year-old Brogan, who can play anywhere down the left-hand side, was with Rotherham for five years has scored 14 goals in 48 appearances for Stalybridge Celtic.
"Brogan played non-league football last season and has just been away with the England C Team actually," Tisdale said yesterday.
"He was previously with Rotherham and actually made his comeback from a broken leg in the game where we were promoted, having been out for 15 months. I remember him from that time and he was a good young player who had a bad injury and is now on the way back up again.
"He has had a very good season at Stalybridge Celtic and is in the England C Team and I've said to him for the last two years that when he was back and firing again that I'd give him the opportunity to come here on trial and he has chosen to do that.
"Both players are attacking players and we are going to see how they do."
