Striker to represent Northern Ireland in international tournament
We’re pleased to announce that Exeter City striker Jamie Reid has been called up by Northern Ireland for the forthcoming International Milk Cup Tournament.
The annual tournament, which takes place in Northern Ireland, sees competitive action at three different age groups. The Junior (under-14) and Premier (under-16) levels are represented by youth international club sides and Northern Irish county sides, whereas the Elite (under-19) level is played by international teams.
This year, Northern Ireland’s under-19s will face Denmark, Mexico and USA in a round-robin competition, which kicks off on Monday 29th July.
Jamie Reid and the Ulstermen will face Denmark on the opening day in Coleraine, then USA two days later in Drumahoe, before finishing with a tie against Mexico at Ballymena Showgrounds on Friday 2nd August. The squad will first convene in County Antrim on Friday 26th July.
