Help clean up St James Park station

Want to help tidy up our local rail station?

With Exeter City not in Sky Bet League 2 action until Sunday against Newport, there’s a great way to occupy yourself this Saturday afternoon by helping out the club and the community – come and help tidy up St James Park rail station!

Rebecca Catterall of Devon and Cornwall Partnership is leading a clean-up of the station just down from the Stagecoach Stand entrance, on Saturday 15th March, 11.30am to 4.30pm.  She will be bringing some tools and student volunteers but is looking for as many volunteers as we can get, to clear overgrowing vegetation on paths and platforms to make it much easier to keep tidy in the future.

The Station Manager, Melanie Harvey, is organising a man with a van to ferry trimmings away, and to bring a couple of planters to place on the platform by the allotments.  Refreshment and toilet facilities will be available at the club – wear old clothes and bring strong gloves if you can!
