Long time club servant gets a reward!
July’s Foundation winner is great Grecian fan and long-time Trust stalwart Frank Sealey. Most Tuesdays Frank can be found at his desk in the administration block, behind the Centre Spot bar, see picture. In his role as Trust Secretary Frank maintains the membership records, handles new members (in the nicest possible way) and reconciles the bank statements (occasionally!) for the 3,000 or so Exeter City Trust members. But that is not the only string to his bow. Frank is also the membership coordinator of the Junior Grecians and President of the ExEC 100 Club, based in the Old Grandstand. And he’s one of the original Bond holders, the fore-runner of the Foundation.So overall, we can’t think of a more worthy winner. When asked where he’ll spend the £1,000 monthly prize, he was a little coy. After spending the kids inheritance on a certain trip to Brazil last year, he’s pondering a holiday – however there’s always the lounge to re-decorate - so, something of a dilemma! In the meantime, the money is presumably held in Trust …..
The Exeter City Foundation is a great deal, particularly for those who are regular supporters of the Club.
