Want to go to see cup final at Wembley?
The Trust and Club are delighted to announce that once again we have two pairs of Capital One Cup final tickets on offer for Trust members to buy, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur contesting the trophy on Sunday 1st March (kick-off 4pm).As a Football League Club, Exeter City automatically enter the Capital One Cup, which entitles the Club to purchase a number of tickets for the final. This year we have a total of five pairs, two of which are available to Trust members to buy (one pair in each end). The tickets are to the side of the pitch, near the halfway line and are as always some of the best seats available and well worth the extra expense.
At most clubs these are normally passed out or sold to directors, management or members of the playing staff but Exeter City are continuing the policy of splitting the allocation between the Club and the Trust and this year it is our turn to have four tickets, available in two pairs, for Trust members to buy.
We have one pair of Chelsea tickets at £72 each (so £144 the pair) and one pair of Tottenham Hotspur tickets also at £72 each (again £144 the pair).
Please note this match is subject to extra time and penalties if the score remains even at full time. The match could therefore finish an hour or more later than scheduled, which you may need to factor into travel arrangements.
You can only wear appropriate colours for whichever area you take tickets for. No colours from other teams, even our own, are allowed. However normally, whilst not wearing their colours, you can be (quietly) supporting the opposing team to the area you are in, as the area is normally friendly with supporters from various teams in them as described above.
The other conditions that apply are that should you be successful you must use one yourself and then take whoever you like with you but you cannot take payment for the second ticket and you must sign a disclaimer covering these points when buying the tickets.
Applications to enter a draw for the right to buy these tickets should be made by contacting Neil Le Milliere on neil_le_milliere@btinternet.com or by ringing 07946 615 889. Applications must be made by midnight on Wednesday 18th February. Results of the draw will be made as soon as possible after this, in time for arrangements to be made for you to pick up your tickets from Reception at the weekend’s game against Plymouth Argyle or for them to be brought up to London for you to collect.
