NHS calling for Grecians to Sign For Life
Exeter City supporters are being asked to ‘Sign for Life’ as part of NHS Blood and Transplant’s latest campaign to increase organ donor registrations.Three people die every day in need of an organ and there are currently around 7,000 people on the waiting list. That’s equivalent to over 630 football teams.
There are simply not enough organs available, so lovers of the beautiful game are being asked to think about joining the register and then share their decision with friends and family.
A single organ donor can transform the lives of up to nine people! So if more people signed the register and their families then agreed to donate their loved one’s organs, more lives could be saved.
Join the team today: go to www.organdonation.nhs.uk, sign the organ donor register and tell your friends and family about your decision to help save lives in the future.
Join the conversation online using #OrganDonor – you could also post a selfie on Facebook or Twitter in your Exeter City shirt.
Follow and support the campaign on Twitter via @NHSOrganDonor and Facebook at facebook.com/organdonationuk.
