Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale trying to get the players back for Blackpool
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale says Lee Holmes and Jordan Moore-Taylor are still nursing injuries, but he does not think they'll be long-term.The players both limped off in Thursday night's 3-0 win over Cardiff City, but are fighting to be fit for Saturday's opening game against Blackpool.
Tis said: They’re both nursing injuries. We don’t think they’re long term but I think we’ll have to prepare to play without them should we need to. There are no guarantees at the moment that they’ll be fit so we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed. If they’re not fit for Blackpool then we’ll try to get them fit for the following week, with Brentford and Hartlepool approaching. It’s not ideal as we had a lot of consistency in selection going through the last month, so it will be disappointing to lose one or two at the start of the season but that’s life and we’ll have to get used to it."
