Update: Exeter City visuals

An update on the new look visual style of Exeter City Football Club

You may have noticed that season tickets, match tickets and recent publications from Exeter City Football Club have a new look this season.

Over the past few months’ representatives from all sections of the Club and Trust have been working together to create updated and modernized visuals that integrate logos, and bring together all elements that form Exeter City Football Club.

The Club are aware of the importance of creating a high quality, distinctive visual style that is consistent throughout everything the Club and its sub-sections produce, allowing it to be instantly recognisable as part of Exeter City Football Club.

Exeter-based agency Toucan Design have created the distinctive finished images, including a redrawn, clean crest, a crest set within a shield, and a new suite of logos for the Trust, Academy, Football in the Community etc.

Another part of the exercise has been a Signage project, lead by Trustees and underwritten by the Trust. After a detailed audit of signage around St James Park it was clear that the signage was in part unreadable, distracting or outdated. Working with both Toucan and Signs Express, new signage will be erected around St James Park this coming season, which will improve the match day experience for home and away fans.

The club is still intending to do further work to introduce a Grecian emblem based upon the already established Grecian helmet; this is currently a work in progress.

We hope that fans embrace the updated visuals throughout the upcoming season.

Going forward, these will form the visual identity of the Club and its sub-sections.
