THE EXETER CITY HISTORY GROUP is delighted to announce that a new short film documenting workshops held to explore the ways players and fans have interacted over the years is now available to view.

The film can be seen on the Grecian Archive here.

The workshops were part of a project, funded by the University of Exeter, to explore player and fan interactions from the 1960s through to today. Participants included a range of supporters and City legends Alan Banks, Bob Wilson, Jimmy Giles, Peter Hatch and John Hore, plus current player Matt Oakley.

The premiere of the film was held at the History Group’s Annual Forum on May 4th. A full Courtenay Room not only saw the new release but also enjoyed looking at and discussing various memorabilia brought along by supporters as part of the Heritage Lottery Fund-backed project about the history of St James Park.

The Exeter City History Group was set up by and is part of the Exeter City Supporters' Trust. The History Group can be contacted at historygroup@ecfc.co.uk.
