Odd-job man Colin picks up a cheque for £1000
September’s winner of the Foundation £1,000 was the very deserving Colin Baker, seen in the picture receiving his cheque from Operations Manager Andy Gillard on the pitch at half time in the recent match against Grimsby Town.Colin – Big Col to all who know him – works as an odd-job man at the Club, his invaluable work includes helping with the cleaning up and fixing anything broken. Big Col has been a City supporter all his life and can even remember the day when George Best and Manchester United were on view, watching from his stool standing in the Cowshed!
Colin was delighted with his surprise win – which is going on the latest Virgin Media tv package, including all of the sports stations – so he will be up to date with the football, wherever it is played.
The Exeter City Foundation is a great deal, particularly for those who are regular supporters of the club. For just £10 per month, members are entitled to a range of prizes and, if a season ticket holder, the additional benefit of cash back or a voucher for the ECFC Shop. The City Foundation draw runs throughout the year, and overall there are sixty-seven prizes – of which sixty-four are cash prizes – all of which means that members have a GREAT chance of winning, and all winners are Exeter City supporters.
