Owen Yapp is this months £1,000 winner
February ‘s first out of the hat £1,000 prize winner is Owen Yapp, seen in the picture receiving his cheque at the match vs Stevenage alongside Operations Manager Andy Gillard.Owen was delighted to receive the money, which has already been spent on a weekend away with his wife and family in Copenhagen – very nice at this time of year, we understand!
He has great memories of watching the Grecians through the 1980s and 90s, remembering a 2-2 draw with Reading where one Kerry Dixon picked up two goals, also Barry McConnell’s brilliant strike in a pre-season game vs a star-studded Chelsea team.
Owen has very generously given back £100 of his prize money to the Foundation, to go towards good causes at the Club including the youth academy and the City’s Football in the Community charitable arm.
The Exeter City Foundation is a great deal, particularly for those who are regular supporters of the club. For just £10 per month, members are entitled to a range of prizes and, if a season ticket holder, the additional benefit of cash back or a voucher for the ECFC Shop. The City Foundation draw runs throughout the year, and overall there are sixty-seven prizes – of which sixty-four are cash prizes – all of which means that members have a GREAT chance of winning, all winners are Exeter City supporters and net proceeds go to good causes at the Club.
Further, we are running a special incentive to boost membership through March this season. If you sign up to paying by monthly standing order the first three months are absolutely FREE!! And look out for the draw taking place on the pitch at half time in the match vs Accrington Stanley on Saturday March 11th.
If you want to join then fill in a form at Reception, join on-line through www.ecfconline.com or contact the Foundation administrator at Richard.horne@exetercityfc.co.uk
