Stadium improvements at St James Park

Exeter City Football Club is constantly looking to improve the facilities at St James Park for all visitors and supporters.

To enable current and future improvements, the club board has allocated part of the transfer fee from Ollie Watkins move to Brentford to improving and upgrading facilities at St James Park.

In parallel to the on-going stadium redevelopment, an amount of £150,000 was ring-fenced for projects that were seen as essential to improving and upgrading our stadium and facilities.

To date, work has recently been completed on a brand new modern bar and toilet upgrades in the Supporters’ Trust suite in the Park, alongside repairs to the building’s roof.

The next scheduled works are on the structural steelwork on the Thatchers’ Big Bank and IP Office Main stand, with other areas having been identified to ensure the improvements of our club continue moving forward.

Exeter City chairman Julian Tagg said: “Exeter City Football Club is always looking to be progressive and move forward as a club.

"With the redevelopment of the Stagecoach Stand and new away end in progress, now is the perfect opportunity to upgrade and repair other areas of the stadium.”

“We hope that supporters will start to notice these improvements and they will have a positive effect on our match day experience.”

The Park at St James Park is available for hire for conferences and events. Whether it be corporate team building, business showcasing or conferencing, the Park offers great value packages suitable for up to 200 guests.
