Exeter City defender Dean Moxey praised the team effort that helped the Grecians to a clean sheet against Coventry.
City took the lead in the seventh minute through a long-range effort from Ryan Harley. After that, they needed a strong defensive showing to pick up all three points.
“It was a massive win,” said Dean. “To get three points against a Coventry team that came here in good form was great. It was ugly and probably not great to watch but we battled and it was good to keep a clean sheet and get the three points.
“We knew they were going to come on to us (after we scored) as they are a good team. We made a change at half-time and Woody (Craig Woodman) came in and did fantastic second-half. The whole team effort second half to get a clean sheet was fantastic.”
