I hope that many of you will have noticed, at our game against Newport County, that Trustee Pete Martin presented a cheque for £1,500 to the ‘Sporting Memories’ project, run by CITY Community Trust here at St James Park, to help them through the season.
We wish them well and look forward to doing more work with them during the year. If you are interested in joining please contact Peter Ferlie at peter.ferlie@ecfc.co.uk.
Around 12 months two Trustees, Paul West and Elaine Davis, decided to try and attract corporate membership to the Trust, aimed at local business who might want to support our model of ownership! Membership costs £150.00pa and the numerous benefits include:
- Entered into the Director of the Day draw;
- A window sticker;
- Regular newsletter;
- A programme article upon joining;
- Silver status for any game when priority is in force – a single ticket;
- An invitation to enjoy a game from the Heritage Lounge;
- Your logo on the Trust website and all newsletters;
- Reduced prices advertising in the match-day programme;
- The opportunity to sponsor special Trust events.
We also hope to hold more corporate forums, such as our sporting success in Exeter’ event, during the course of the season.
We’d really like to attract more corporate members and so, if you’d be interested yourself then of course, or you know somebody who might be, please get in touch with Elaine at eadavis5@hotmail.com. We’d love to hear from you! …and to those of you who already belong – thank you so much, we very much appreciate your support!
Finally, can I please draw your attention to the questionnaire included with this programme and being distributed around the ground. It’s important that we understand how you are feeling about the club, the Trust, and the experience you have when you visit St James Park. We will feedback the outcomes and any actions taken as a result. You can return the questionnaire to the club shop any time.
Please, enjoy the game this afternoon. Come on you reds!!!!
Nick Hawker, Trust chairman.
