Things are a little quiet at the Football Club for obvious reasons, but City Foundation is still running.
We have a lucky Β£1,000 winner in April, who is Phil Short, Foundation member number 153. Phil can be seen in a recently provided photo, complete with family and city beany.
The prize money is more than welcome at this particularly difficult time, Phil plans to spend the money on a few trips away as soon as things return to normal.
He has supported Exeter since the late 1970s, with his first memories being Cityβs 1981 cup run. His favourite matches over the years include that trip away to Man Utd, the defeat of Torquay in the play-off semis and of course beating Cambridge at Wembley to return to the Football League in 2008.
Phil singles out Tony Kellow and Steve Flack as his favourite players over the years, and he likes the recent Academy graduates who have come into the first team over the last few years.
About the Exeter City Foundation
The Exeter City Foundation is a great deal, particularly for those who are regular supporters of the club. For just Β£10 per month, members are entitled to a range of prizes and, if a season ticket holder, the additional benefit of cash back or a voucher for the ECFC Shop.
The City Foundation draw runs throughout the year, and overall there are sixty-seven prizes β of which sixty-four are cash prizes β all of which means that members have a GREAT chance of winning, all winners are Exeter City supporters and net proceeds go to good causes at the club.
If you want to join then fill in a form at Reception, join online by clicking here, or by contacting the Foundation administrator at Richard.horne@ecfc.co.uk.
