Exeter City would like to thank supporters for adhering to the guidance for Saturday's match, we very much hope that supporters continue to work with the stewards and match day staff to allow us to ensure we maintain safe standards and comply with guidance and legislation.
We do understand that match days are not the same full match day that you are used to, and that we all want to return at the right time, however respecting each other and our staff is essential and we appreciate your understanding.
We will be looking to increase attendance to include the Tracks Suzuki St James Road Stand for the Boxing Day match against Forest Green Rovers. With some minor adjustments this will not only take us to the 2,000 we are currently permitted to allow but also very close to the socially distanced capacity allowed under Sports Ground Safety Authority guidance.
We have a large number of season tickets who attend in household bubbles of 1 or 2, this reduces capacity with spacing required between bubbles.
We just want to be transparent that should the tier change in at any stage we do not anticipate significant increase above 2,000, however we will do all we can to allow as many supporters back in as possible when it is safe, and we are allowed to under regulations.
So, one final thank you to the stewards, not an easy job to adapt and change processes that have been put in place over many years. The result helps, however we thank supporters and staff for making Saturday a safe event, and ask that we all keep up the good work and standards.
Lets continue to make St James Park even safer for the benefit of each other.
