City's number 17 Matt Jay says he hopes his side can cause an upset by beating Championship side Sheffield Wednesday at SJP on Saturday.
The second tier Owls are without a manager and have suffered significantly with a Covid-19 outbreak so are likely to bring a reduced squad to Devon, and Jay hopes City can capitalise on that.
"This is a really great chance for us to get through and the prospect of round four is really tasty," he said
"It's happening more and more that you don't know what side you'll be facing. The old cliche of focusing on ourselves is more and more apparent, and we just have to make sure we give it our best shot."
