Matt Taylor has reacted to the Grecians' 2-1 win over Oldham as they broke a new club record to extend their unbeaten league run to 14 matches.
Following the result, Matt was keen to praise his squad.
"Credit goes to the whole squad, the staff and the entire feel around the place," he said.
"It felt like there more here today, and they were making a little bit more noise and vibrance. Even in the lounges in the bar before the game you could sense a little bit of anticipation and expectation so I'm pleased we've got the result for them.
"This is my first time as manager that we've won four in a row, which is probably part of the feel good factor around the place at the moment.
"But as we know, football can change at any moment and my responsibility is for the players and their mental and physical wellbeing. We have to get them ready for Tuesday night now."
