Matt Taylor has reacted to Exeter City's 2-0 win over Sutton United.
Sam Nombe's first two goals for the club sealed victory for the Grecians, who had their backs to the wall in the first half before a dominant end to the match.
"We were nowhere near our best today, and credit to Sutton, but we were able to hang on in there into half time," Matt said.
"We rode our luck, but we changed the shape and we were able to nullify their threats more effectively.
"Sam will get his goals. He was starved in the first haf because we were deep, but we addressed that and we were braver in possession.
"As a manager, you have to trust your side to improve inthe shape we've played all season, but we couldn't wait any longer.
"The pace of Owura gave us something extra, the crowd were more awake, and we just had to get the ball to the front three.
"I was really pleased because we have to be flexible this season, and we showedt that really well."
