February’s BIG Exeter City Foundation winner for a cool £1,000 was long time supporter Robin Bostock-Smith.
Robin is currently in deepest Cornwall recuperating from a knee operation, so is unable to attend a match in person to receive his prize.
However he has penned a few lines about his Grecians supporting experience, as follows:
"I have been a supporter since the mid-60’s. I was a boarder at Queen Elizabeth School Crediton and one year my father bought me a season ticket, we used to meet up in Exeter before matches.
At that time Alan Banks & Dermot Curtis were the stars. Since then I have rarely lived close enough to Exeter to see that many matches.I have fond memories of seeing some of the great games - the cup run of the 1980s, the two matches against Man Utd which paid our debts & the two games against Liverpool a few years ago.
I have always supported the Club’s fund raising initiatives, including the Exiles at £19 a month and of course the Foundation. It is wonderful to get something back!”
