Julian Tagg, president and director of external affairs has provided an update, as the search for a new Manager continues.
Matt Taylor departed the club on October 4 to join Championship side Rotherham. Since then a rigorous process has been undertaken to make sure the club appoints the right successor to lead the club forward.
Speaking about the process Julian said: "It's a very rigorous process with some very good candidates.
"The difficulty now is of course working out all the different levels. We will have a situation where someone is strong Academy wise, someone is less strong in terms of having experience in the Football League.
"There is a mix of candidates that have expeiriences in different ways, so that makes it difficult as are you doing it for tomorrow, or the next five years?
Speaking about the timescale Julian added: "There is a timescale we are aiming at but we feel that if we need to go back, revisit and take longer, reinterview, that's more important than sticking to the deadline."
