Demetri Mitchell has given his first interview with the club after joining the club on a permanent deal until the end of the 23/24 season.
The 26-year-old defender/winger says he can’t wait to get going at his new home in Devon: “I’ve come here to play games," said Demetri. "I want to help the team as much as possible and help us finish as high as possible in the league, so I’m looking forward to getting going."
Demetri had worked with Manager Gary Caldwell before both individually and at Hibs and Demetri explained how it was a key part to moving to Exeter: "The gaffer is a big pull to get me here as I know what he’s about and it was a positive experience with him before, so it was a big pull."
"I’ve had great experience in League One and the Championship. Being promoted with Blackpool was one of the highlights of my career."
When asked about his playing style he added: "I can play in a variety of positions which is one of my strongest attributes. I like to get forward, be positive and take on players. I’ve come here to enjoy my football.
"I want to play as many games as I can as it’s not something I’ve been able to do in a while. I want to come and help the team finish as high as possible."
