Our first season back in the third tier after ten years away has certainly been one to remember with some incredible memories made. As we wave goodbye to the campaign for the 2022/23 season and look ahead to the next, now is the perfect time to take a look back at what has certainly been a rollercoaster season.
May. The month the season ends. The players are gearing up to jet off on their summer breaks, and the fans are planning for eight weeks of boring Saturday. But that wasn't before a stunner of a final day at SJP.
- Bidding farewell to the Grecians following his loan spell from Fulham, Jay Stansfield scored not once...
- Not twice...
- But three times, as City rounded off the campaign with a 3-2 win over Morecambe.
