Assistant manager Kevin Nicholson has given his thoughts as City prepare to take on Leyton Orient at SJP on Saturday.
Filing in on press duties for Gary Caldwell, who was in a board meeting, Nicho is looking forward to the match as the Grecians hope to cotinue their good start to the season.
"Our league position means nothing, and Saturday is all about us and how we try and beat a good team," Nicho said.
"I want us to have a good day, I want the fans to have a good day and have a fantastic game to watch, and for them to know that the players hagve been prepping like their lives depend on it.
"The most important thing for us is the game itself and ensuring we are ready. We know we can be better and we have to keep setting higher standards.
"Yes we're happy with what we've been doing and we have to keep doing that, but there is still room for more. We have to be the hardest working team and most focused team in the league. It doesn't matter where you are in the league right now, it's just about beating Leyton Orient."
