For an incredible third time this season, Abbie Britton has been named the FA Women's National League Manager of the Month!

The Grecians won three out of three in March, securing Abbie Britton her third award of the season, the most out of any team in the FAWNL.

Sophie Gillies kicked off the month with a goal after just 120 seconds away at Oxford United. On a sunny afternoon, City showed a defensive resilience to keep the U's at bay and claim all three points. Just three days later Britton's side returned to Devon for a derby showdown against Argyle at Coach Road.

In a tense affair, again it was Gillies who made the difference. Her goal 12 minutes from time ensured that our county remained red in front of a record crowd in Newton Abbot.

City capped off the month with a return to St James Park, where a wonder-strike from Amber Pollock and Maya Kendell's close range finish secured the win against Cheltenham Town.

On receiving the award for the third time this season,

"I'm incredibly proud, really humbled to just be nominated for the third time," said Abbie.

"To win it is an incredible achievement, not just for me, but for the staff that go unnoticed all season by the rest of the world, but not by me and my players."

"It's a huge honour to have won the award again and incredibly thankful to all those who voted."
