Match Preview image for Reading home fixture

Exeter City return to home soil for the first time in 17 days as Reading are the visitors to Devon on Tuesday evening.

City are going well in League One, sitting fifth, and have not conceded a goal in the last six matches in all competitions, stretching back to mid-September. The Grecians come into the game on the back of a 2-0 win at Shrewsbury on Thursday. Reading are in mixed form with three wins and three defeats in their last six matches, but were 4-1 winners at home on Saturday, beating Crawley Town.

Gary Caldwell's Thoughts

"The detail that we have tells us that Reading are a very good team, and tactically they are very well set up.

"They have a very good manager and they are very aggressive when they try to win the ball back. We have to be very clear on what we need to do to win the game, and that is something we worked on yesterday - today we'll add the final bits.

"With SJP at night, it seems to create a different kind of atmosphere and hopefully we have big numbers and big voices - we have to give the supporters a performance as well."
