Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts ahead of Reading's visit to St James Park on Tuesday evening.
Having celebrated his 100th match in charge with a 2-0 win at Shrewsbury on Thursday, City have now gone six matches in all competitions without conceding - a new record for the club in the third tier - but face a fierce opposition in a Royals side who were 4-1 winners over Crawley Town at the weekend.
"They have a very good manager and they are very aggressive when they try to win the ball back. We have to be very clear on what we need to do to win the game, and that is something we worked on yesterday - today we'll add the final bits.
"With SJP at night, it seems to create a different kind of atmosphere and hopefully we have big numbers and big voices - we have to give the supporters a performance as well."
