Brentford B preview

Exeter City U21s are back in Premier League Cup action on Thursday night as they host Brentford B in a 7pm kick-off.

It's been an incredible campaign in the competition for the Grecians, having gone unbeaten in the group stage winning five and drawing one of their group matches to become group winners.

The round of sixteen tie sees the Grecians host Brentford B side that finished second in group I, having faced Derby County, Bournemouth and Chelsea.

The tie must be settled on the night, so if the score is level at full-time there will be extra-time and penalties to decide who progresses.

The match will be a great opportunity for supporters to see the future stars of Exeter City, with this year's participation in the competition our first since 2021/22. The competition assists the player pathway into the first team.
