We are delighted to announce that Kevin McDonald has signed a contract extension until the end of the 24/25 season.
Kev signed a short term deal back in November with the aim of both playing and working with the club's younger midfielders and has gone on to make seven appearances in red and white. Kev's experience was key in the club winning both matches he started in, away at Burton Albion and at home to Bristol Rovers.
Speaking about offering Kev the extension, Gary said: "Kev is a fantastic influence on the squad and brings a lot of experience to the team.
"We brought him in to mentor our younger midfielders, and Jake Richards in particular and Jake has had his best spell at the club since Kev has been with us.
"When called upon to play we have won both matches that Kev has started, so he's still got a lot to offer as a player."
