Kids in Charge returns on Good Friday against Burton Albion

Kids in Charge day

Exeter City are delighted to once again be able to extend yet another exciting opportunity for young supporters to go behind the scenes at our Kids in Charge Day!

The day will return for the visit of Burton Albion to St James Park on Friday, April 18,1pm where we’re giving our younger fans aged between 6 and 12 the chance to shadow special roles here at SJP. Most of the opportunities up for grabs will happen on the match day, with other lucky youngsters getting to visit the Cliff Hill Training Ground to interview key staff or help with a kit wash during the school Easter Holidays.

The club are staggered with the growing number of young fans we continue to see coming through the turnstiles at St James Park. This year the number of Junior Grecian members could top an unprecedented 1,000. The Match Day Experience packages for mascots and school/club visits continue to be very successful. If you have not visited the match day Family Zone with your children why not take the opportunity on your next visit to SJP?

Kids in Charge Day

Kids in Charge made a successful debut at City’s match against Stevenage way back in 2015 and has had widespread acclaim every year it has run. This season we have 28 exciting opportunities available for junior supporters to participate.

As in previous years these are genuine, money-can’t-buy opportunities at Exeter City.

In the past parents have recognised it really is events like this that reinforce Exeter City as a Community Club committed to the family audience. The genuine offer of exciting and rewarding opportunities has certainly become one of the season’s highlights.

“The Exeter City Kids in Charge Day has been a huge success over the years and it’s fantastic that we are able to host the event again this season.”
Clive Harrison, Trustee of Exeter City Supporters’ Trust & Club Director of Supporter Experience

“As a Club we have focused on attracting families and children to SJP over a number of years now and we have seen attendances grow steadily. As a supporter owned club we are able to provide supporter’s with a unique match day experience, one we are very proud of, and Kids in Charge Day is an important part of that. Of course, none of this unique experience is possible without our hard working and dedicated volunteers who give their time freely. My thanks to everyone who helps in making us such a special club.”
