Paul thanks fans and calls on support
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale issued a big ‘thank you’ to all the Grecians that turned out to see City play in the rain against Rotherham. The 1-0 home defeat was disappointing, especially following back-to-back wins on the road against Bradford and Gillingham, but Tis wanted to express his gratitude for the unwavering support.
There had been doubts as to whether the game would even go ahead, following a spell of atrocious weather across the South West which had left many parts of the county flooded or inaccessible.
But thanks to groundsman Clive Pring, the game went ahead as planned. And almost 4000 fans braved the elements to watch the Grecians take on the Millers.
With the Devon Derby against Plymouth Argyle just around the corner, Paul took time out to call on the fans to show their passion once more, as well as reminding supporters that the game is ALL TICKET – meaning fans will not be able to pay on the day.
