City Unveil New Home Shirt

It goes on sale on August 5th at SJP

Exeter City’s new Joma home shirt was unveiled this morning by attackers Arron Davies and Alan Gow ahead of its first outing at the pre-season clash with FC United on Saturday. (3pm)

The shirt goes on sale just 15 days later, priced at £40 for adults and £30 for children, at the family fun day on August 5th.

Simon Lilley, Flybe’s Director of Marketing said: “Flybe is proud to have been Exeter City’s sponsor for the last for ten years, and proud for our brand to have been worn for over a decade by passionate fans.

“We’ve seen a lot of different kits over that time but this one is probably the best of the bunch, and I look forward to seeing lots of them this season throughout the city and beyond.”

That family fun day will include an open training session giving supporters the chance, for the first time, to hear Paul Tisdale as he talks through his drills and routines with the first-team squad. There will also be a chance to have your photograph taken with the players and other special events.

In the meantime, why not clear out your cupboards to make room for the new shirt  and give those old City shirts to charity? If you bring your old shirts - and also shorts, boots or even shinpads - back to the club shop, we will send it to our friends in Brazil at the charity Children's Aid, which helps children from the favelas - slums - of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

"The club is delighted to help children living in such terrible circumstances. The charity is close to our hearts as it is run in Brazil by Ricardo Calcado, who helped bring the Brazilian Masters team here in 2004 for our centenary and his mother, Vera, runs the English arm from her Teignmouth base. We handed over a lot of kit last season so I hope we can do even better this year," says Bruce Henderson, the club's business development manager.

The new kit is manufactured by Joma, who also work with Valencia and Fiorentina, as well as our Centre of Excellence squads, and have over 40 years experience in producing the highest quality technical team apparel.

Tickets for the FC United match are: Flybe (seating): Adult £6, Concession £4, Under 18s free and Big Bank (standing): Adult £5; Concession £3: Under 18s free.
