An update on our Player service
**UPDATE**
We are pleased to report that the commentary service on Grecian Player has performed without fault on the past two matchdays (at home to Fleetwood and away at Bradford). While it is important that this has been functioning correctly, we are aware that it is only a start towards the quality level of service that we are committed to and are striving to reach. Once again, thank you for your patience in this matter and we hope you're enjoying the additional video content that we have been able to provide in recent weeks.
We are aware that a number of fans have been experiencing problems with the live commentary provided on matchdays by Grecian Player.
For many subscribers, the commentary service is a fundamental part of the function that Player provides. It is important that we are able to provide the full, uninterrupted, digital-quality commentary that is exclusive to Player.
In this respect, not only have we met with the Football Leagueas as our first point of contact, but have also been working with BBC Radio Devon (who provide the audio streaming service) and Perform (who host the platform) in an attempt to isolate and eliminate the problems that exist. All three parties have been very helpful in assisting us to find the source of the interruptions, and we remain resolute in our intention to address the issues will a view to a permanent solution.
In the meantime, we appreciate your patience while we identify these issues, and we wish to reiterate that we are addressing them as a matter of priority.
Despite the aforementioned we intend to continue to add further extra value to the Player service by providing additional exclusive content such as behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and exclusive match action. Our objective is to provide content for our subscribers to enjoy all week round. So why not check out Tis’s preview of Fleetwood, pitch-side views of the goals against Wimbledon, some clips from Kellow’s Bootlaces, or see the Grecianettes doing their half-time routine!
