Tis reflects on victory against Wimbledon
Grecians boss Paul Tisdale reflected on a much-needed win against AFC Wimbledon.Goals either side of half-time by Jamie Cureton and John O’Flynn gave City a 2-0 win – their first victory since facing Barnet at Underhill last month.
Speaking to Fullsy, Tisdale said: “We didn’t play our best football, but we played with a fair bit of intent and I think the players realised it was important to get the win tonight.
“They played with some real purpose about them. We weren’t always pretty, but I think we played well enough to win the game.
“I’ve seen us play better and lose recently! But I don’t really care tonight – it was about winning.”
