Changes will be made swiftly
Exeter City Football Club today announced it is to modify the match day catering arrangements following a planned review.
CEO Julian Tagg said detailed discussions had been held with the current contractors and that changes would now be made swiftly.
He added that the move was partly as a result of feedback from supporters since the beginning of the season.
"As a club we have to try new things and work with a range of partners," he said.
"This season we employed a new team of caterers in the hope that we would improve the match day experience but, for a number of reasons, it hasn't worked as planned.
"Our supporters have made their views quite clear, we have listened and we are moving on. The current caterers have worked with us in the past on events such as the extremely popular and enjoyable Summer Ball, and will continue to do so with similar future projects.
"However, the present match day kiosk arrangements have been less successful and the club has therefore decided to resume control.
"We have large crowds to cater for and with the somewhat restricted facilities there is a difficult balance to be achieved between quality of product, price and speed of service - something we are determined to work towards and accomplish."
