Two scholars handed contracts with Exeter
Midfielder Matt Grimes and goalkeeper Christy Pym, have both been given professional contracts at St James Park.
Grimes has been captaining the under-18s this season, and Christy Pym was called onto the bench for a first-team fixture to deputise in February when Artur Krysiak missed a match through injury in February.
The players in the second year of the Academy’s YTS were today given the news of their deals with the club.
Right-back Sam Brown has also been handed a short-term deal.
Unfortunately centre-backs Irvine Densu and Kamarl Duncan have not been given professional contracts.
Everyone at Exeter City Football Club would like to extend their utmost gratitude to all five players for their hard work and dedication during their time with the Academy.
The club will continue to support Irvine and Kamarl beyond their time with Exeter City, and wish them the very best for their future careers in football.
