Young Grecians facing Plymouth at Home Park on Tuesday
For those Exeter fans that aren’t travelling through to Rotherham for the crunch League 2 clash tonight, there is the opportunity to go and see City’s youngsters in action against Plymouth Argyle at Home Park in the semi-final of the St Lukes Bowl.
The Grecians were handed a bye in the first round of the competition, and have beaten Willand Rovers and Tiverton Town to reach this stage. The youngsters needed penalties to beat Willand after a 1-1 draw at Silver Street, before turning over Tivvy 4-1 in the quarter-final. Argyle have defeated Ivybridge and Witheridge en route to the semi-final.
First-year pros Jamie Reid, Jacob Jagger Cane and Tom Nichols all featured in the previous round, and the Pilgrims have announced a number of first-team players that have been made available for the local clash.
The Devon are vying for a place in the final, where they will face Torquay United in the final. The Gulls overcame Bideford 3-0 in their semi-final tie.
Tickets are priced at £4 for adults and £2 for concessions, with the game kicking off at 7.30pm.
