Line-ups for the first game of 2013/14
New signings Sam Parkin and David Wheeler are immediately into the starting XI for the first fixture of the season.
Parkin is joined by John O'Flynn to lead the line, with Wheeler taking the right-flank berth.
In defence, Jordan Moore-Taylor is preferred - presumably in the right-back position - with usual trio Pat Baldwin, Craig Woodman and captain Danny Coles making up the back four ahead of Artur Krysiak.
Liam Sercombe will begin his first competitive game in seven months in midfield, along with Arron Davies and Scot Bennett.
Rovers only named six subs, following a pre-season fraught with injuries for the Gas. Former City captain Matt Gill isn't amongst the side.
