Fundraiser auctions running for signed books
Exeter City Supporters’ Trust are currently auctioning two fully-autographed editions of Never Say Die – Nick Spencer’s book about the relegation season of 2003 through to back-to-back promotions in 2008 and 2009.
The auction is being run as the latest fundraiser towards the Light Up the Park campaign – a Trust-led initiative to raise funds for the necessary floodlight upgrades at St James Park.
There are 38 autographs in total, including club legends Alan Banks and Jimmy Giles, former City stars of the promotion years including Richard Logan, Rob Edwards, Dean Moxey and Jamie Mackie, as well as a signature by comedian and City fan Adrian Edmondson, who wrote the foreword to the book.
