Young forward in the running for award
Exeter City under-18 striker Ollie Watkins is in the running for the November 2013 Goal of the Month through League Football Education (LFE).
LFE oversees the apprenticeship programme for all Football League clubs in England and Wales. The Goal of the Month competition pools some of the best goals from around the four regional Youth Alliance divisions.
Watkins applied the finish to a fine team move when the Grecians’ under-18s faced their opponents from Newport County AFC. Watch the goal embedded below.
