Cardiff v West Brom
Cardiff last 6: WLDLDL
West Brom last 6: WDDLLL

Only one point separates these two in the table and their recent results are remarkably similar, with both having failed to register a win in their last five Premier League outings. Cardiff average exactly a goal a game at home, though West Brom have scored 17 goals to Cardiff’s 11 overall.

Opta stat: West Brom have lost none of their last seven away games against Cardiff (W2 D5 L0) – their last defeat coming at Ninian Park in Dec 1960.

Jeff Stelling says: “2-1 West Brom - Baggies to end a 56-year wait for a win in the Welsh capital.”  Ed Chamberlin says: “0-0 – both are struggling for goals.”

Most likely score according to Sky Bet’s odds: Cardiff 1-1 West Brom (5/1).

Chelsea v Crystal Palace
Chelsea last 6: LDWWWL
Crystal Palace last 6: LDWLWW

This will be the first meeting between the sides since Jose Mourinho’s first spell in charge of Chelsea. The Blues have scored three times as many goals as Palace in the league this term, but the visitors have finally found form with three wins in their last four.

Opta stat: Crystal Palace have scored just six goals in their last 12 Premier League games.

Jeff Stelling says: “2-0 Chelsea - Palace, with three wins in four, will make it tough but Chelsea are too strong.”  Ed Chamberlin says: “2-0 Chelsea – they’re too powerful for Palace.”

Most likely score according to Sky Bet’s odds: Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace (9/2).

Everton v Fulham
Everton last 6: DDDWWD
Fulham last 6: LLLLLW

Everton can expect to maintain their remarkable record against Fulham, having won all 12 Premier League meetings between the sides on home soil. They’ve scored 28 with just six in reply in that time, though Fulham ended a run of seven successive defeats with a win last week.

Opta stat: Fulham have lost five of their last six Barclays Premier League away games and have failed to score in all those defeats.

Jeff Stelling says: “2-0 Everton - Fulham, astonishingly, have lost on their last 20 league visits to Goodison Park.”  Ed Chamberlin says: “2-0 Everton – the Toffees are flying”

Most likely score according to Sky Bet’s odds: Everton 2-0 Fulham (11/2).

Newcastle v Southampton
Newcastle last 6: WWWWLW
Southampton last 6: DWLLLD

Newcastle are one of the Premier League’s form teams at the moment with wins over Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United of late. In contrast, Southampton are on the slide having dropped to eighth in the table after a run of four without a win, three of which they’ve lost.

Opta stat: Southampton have scored just six goals in their last 10 Premier League away games.

Jeff Stelling says: “2-1 Newcastle - a sweet win for Alan Pardew at one of his former clubs.”  Ed Chamberlin says: “1-1 – two decent sides.”

Most likely score according to Sky Bet’s odds: Newcastle 1-1 Southampton (11/2).

West Ham v Sunderland
West Ham last 6: DLLWLL
Sunderland last 6: LWLDLL

Four defeats in five leaves West Ham boss Sam Allardyce under pressure to get a result here, but the visitors are in greater need of the points. The Hammers have won seven of 11 at home to Sunderland in the Premier League, but were held 1-1 in this fixture last term.

Opta stat: Only Everton (8) have kept more clean sheets in the Premier League than West Ham (7) this season.

Jeff Stelling says: “1-1 - a point for Gus Poyet but Sunderland remain the only Premier League side without an away win.”  Ed Chamberlin says: “1-0 West Ham – vital points for the Hammers.”

Most likely score according to Sky Bet’s odds: West Ham 1-0 Sunderland (11/2).

Blackpool v Queens Park Rangers
Blackpool last 6: WLDWLL
QPR last 6: WDWLWD

Both teams have scored in four of the last five meetings between Blackpool and QPR, though Harry Redknapp’s men have the tightest defence in the Championship.  Indiscipline has been a major issue for The Tangerines this season and suspensions are starting to take their toll on results.

Opta stat: Blackpool have won just three of 25 meetings between these sides, dating back to 1967.

Jeff Stelling says: “2-0 QPR - five red cards in two games , let’s hope Paul Ince can field a team!”  Ed Chamberlin says: “1-0 QPR – visitors should pinch it.”

Most likely score according to Sky Bet’s odds: Blackpool 0-1 QPR (11/2).
