City to face Bournemouth at Liverton United
Exeter City’s Ability Counts team will be kicking off their first ever FA Disability Cup campaign this Sunday 24th February against their counterparts from AFC Bournemouth, kicking off at 1.30pm.
The teams have been drawn against each other in the inaugural 16-team competition, which will act as the Southern Area quarter-final. City have been drawn at home, and they will use Liverton United’s pitch as their home venue.
The final of the competition will take place at the newly-built St George’s Park in Burton upon Trent.
The Ability Counts team is a self-funded club, run through Exeter City – so please go and give them your support on Sunday! There are four adult men’s teams, as well as a ladies team and a youth team. They allow people with disabilities to play football on a competitive level.
