Seeding announced for first round
The Football League have this morning (Wednesday) revealed the seeding for the 2013/14 Capital One Cup first round.
The first-round of the competition will be divided into north and south, with the 34 entrants at this stage from the southern section to be divided into 17 seeded teams and 17 unseeded.
Exeter City, like all League 2 clubs, are unseeded and will be drawn against one of 17 highest-placed teams of 2012/13 from the southern section that enter at this stage, which includes heavyweights in the form of Birmingham City, QPR and Leicester City.
The results of the draw – and Exeter City’s opponents for the first round – will be announced on Monday 17th June at 9.30am.
