League announced cup draw details
The Football League have confirmed that the draw for the first round of the Capital One Cup will take place on the morning of Monday 17th June.
Teams will be seeded according to their final positions in the table in the 2012/13 season. Recently-relegated sides Wigan Athletic and Reading both receive byes in the first round, as have the 20 Premier League clubs.
The draw for the first round will also be regionalised for the 70 teams that enter at this stage.
First round ties will take place on the week commencing Monday 5th August.
