Exeter City trio to light up the town

Tis, Flynny and Sam at the big switch-on

Exeter City Football Club first-team manager Paul Tisdale and centre-forwards Sam Parkin and John O’Flynn will be bringing the festive glow to the town centre on Thursday 21st November, as they will be switching on the Christmas lights in Princesshay in Exeter city centre.
 
The big switch-on is scheduled for 6.30pm sharp – so make sure you’re there to join Tis and the boys as we begin the countdown to Christmas!
 
The festival atmosphere in Princesshay kicks off at 4pm with loads of entertainment and events, which includes Barclay Beales – a self-taught yodeller from near Crediton that rose to fame through X Factor – who will be performing for the crowd after the big switch-on.
 
More entertainment will Britain’s Got Talent’s semi-finalist Billy George and So You Think You Can Dance runner-up Bethany Rose Harrison will both be performing, as will Exeter University Jazz Orchestra and South West Music Academy.
 
Tis, Flynny and Sam will be joined by the Lord Mayor of Exeter, Exeter Chiefs coach Rob Baxter and Lympstone Military Wives Choir.
 
And that’s not all for the Grecians’ Christmas agenda for – the entire City squad will be at Strada in Princesshay on Thursday 5th December for a calendar-signing event to launch our 2014 calendar, with loads of other activities and chances to pose for photos with the players.  Make sure you join us on that day too!
